The scholarship from Sree Lakshmi Trust didn't just pay my fees; it gave me the belief that a boy from Omassery could become a doctor.
With the sewing machines and training from the Trust, I started a tailoring unit at home. Today four women from my neighbourhood earn alongside me.
The kitchen-garden project gave us more than fresh vegetables; it brought our whole ward together.
